Ocean Fun...no, we didn't go to the beach

Yesterday we went to the Albuquerque Aquarium. It was a lot of fun, we have also been to the Seattle Aquarium and I liked this one just as much. We bought a family pass so Keegan and I can go back when Josh is working. Yay!! When we got there it was feeding time. We got to see a lady in and open tank feeding some smaller rays, and then when we got to the big tank it was feeding time in there too. So much fun to watch.

The puffer fish was HUGE, I would say he was as long as Keegan is tall. And he always swam with his mouth open, kinda strange

Here is Keegan in front of the 1st big tank.

They have a model ship room, and then this big Captains Wheel. Keegs can't even see where he is taking us.

A sea turtle, all I could think about was... "Dude and then I was like Dude".... from Finding Nemo

A portal into the big tank

When I wanted him to look into the tank so that I could get a pic from the back he kept turning around and saying "Cheese"

The big tank at the end had the Biggest rays in it. This one was over 6 feet long (just a guess) but he was huge

Ahoy Matey!!

Here he is again, such a big ray. Keegan says that they are flying in the water. The guy in there was feeding the rays. It was a lot of fun to watch!! There are also sharks in there, I am not sure I would be in there during feeding time.

They have some smaller tanks as well, this one had a few Sea Horses. There were even little baby ones in there too.

Ooops Back to feeding time.

Well, there it is. Sorry they seem out of order, some of them are, and some are because Keegan kept running back and forth from tank to tank we saw it all more than once.

I think one of my favorite parts was the Jelly fish tank. They are so calm, they just bob along, so relaxing to watch.

Keegan says that his favorite part was the "fishy tunnel" it has a walkway where you are going through the tank in a tunnel.
Josh isn't sure that he had a favorite part. He is either really indifferent or he liked it all. I think he liked it all.
We can't wait to take Uncle Jon and Aunt Jace in a couple of weeks!!

Great pictures! Maren LOVES going to the Denver Aquarium and I think the exact same thing whenever I see the turtles!

I chuckled out loud about the turtles, because that was my first thought too. I'm excited to see this aquarium for myself! No offense, but Spokane didn't offer too many outdoor adventures, so I'm looking forward to sunny, warm weather and doing a little more than just watching the boys play video games with their home-made headbands!

Jacey, we are excited to be able to do more too. But, don't knock the home-made headbands. Lol. The zoo is pretty fun too, and as for the sun, it is always out and the pool is open and ready!!
