Here's what we've been up to.

It's salmon season again!  What does this mean?  It means that on almost every one of Josh's days off we go fishing.  Ok, so he fishes and I hang around on the bank keeping a baby happy and also one eye on Keegan.

This was one morning when Keegan was in school. It was Daddy Daughter Fishing Day.
She was happy but mommy doesn't think it's a good idea if he wades out to the middle of the river with her just yet.

Here's Josh's prize catch.  A 33" king salmon.  It was HUGE, I've never had to fillet or deal with a fish that big before, it was bigger than any of my cutting boards!

Now if this isn't the face of a happy fisherman I don't know what is.

And the best part, Keegan informed me the other night, he likes salmon better than chicken.  This was also as we were eating chicken and demanding salmon for dinner the next night.

"Do do do the Puyallup"

As per our usual Fall tradition we went to the Puyallup Fair.  One of the 1st things we had to do was go find the giant roasted turkey legs.  It's the one fair food that I look forward to each year however the elephant ear was tasty too.

We walked around, watched some horses, went through the cow barn.  (Stayed far away from the pigs, just in case)

Then Keegan saw this, he really wanted to do it last year but the line was so long.   This year, however, there was no line at all.

here he is all rigged up ready to go.

Weeeeeeeeee

They tried to convince him to do a back flip but he wouldn't.

Until next year!

She's 4 Months

Look how stinkin cute she is!  I can't believe she's 4 months already.  She is full of smiles everyday and thanks to Keegan's help today I was able to snap a couple pictures that included smiles!

1st grade and so excited!

Keegan was so excited to start school.  He'd had his 1st day outfit picked out for 2 days and then he woke up an hour early!  I wasn't ready to be awake yet so I told him to go back to bed.  This year he has Mr. Edwards.  I've been told by many parents that he is the teacher to have.  I guess it was good to have an 'in' with his Kindergarten teacher since she was the one who placed each student.  This is a good thing since at our school you have the same teacher for 2 years at a time so Mr. Edwards will also be his 2nd grade teacher.

I can't believe how much he's grown, he looks so big.

He came home at the end of the day happy and excited to go back.
