Nothing new to report.

Not much to tell, we have just been enjoying the weather and our time in Albuquerque. Keegan and I go walking almost everynight that Josh works. Even if it isn't something I can consider as exercise. Keegan still has fun. Everynight at about 7:30 the sprinklers come on around the complex. He then gets to run through sprinklers or better yet....jump in the puddles. He usually endes up SOAKED and then demands a "nice warm bath"

We are still waiting to hear wether or not Josh's extension has been approved. We hope so, we have really liked ABQ. If we do extend that would put us here during the Balloon Festival. I am hoping that we get to see it.

"Pa" and Grandma come to Albuquerque

We had visitors again. Only 2 weeks after the previous ones. Keegan had a great time with "Pa" and Grandma. He kept them busy the entire time they were here. Constantly wanting them to go and play in his closet. For the record it is a decent sized walk-in and that is where I have all his toys as well as his Crayola magic light board.

Another visit to Old Towne
I am sure this is some well known guy on the horse, but I haven't really read the sign.

Tari found a hat she just couldn't resist.

I swear Keegan is under that hat.

Cowboy Keegan. He wasn't so sure if he wanted to do this but, his mean old mom made him.

While they were here we had to try a couple of Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins or Dives. They were both sooooo yummy!!!

Of course we made a trip over to the zoo.

We also went to Santa Fe, but we all forgot camera's. We did a chocolate walking tour of the city. It told us where all the fancy chocolate shops were. It was fun and very tasty too. All in all it was a great visit. Keegan can't wait to see them again. Thanks for coming down to the land of the chilies.

Just a funny little story

So, some of you know that my kid is a picky eater. He will eat most any fruit or veggie and bread products but NO meat. And well he is truly part Viehweg cause he LOVES ice cream like the rest of them. But tonight while "Pa" and Grandma were in town we went to the mall to kill some time. While we were there we decided to hit up the food court for a late dinner (we had an amazing lunch and weren't too hungry) They decided that they were going to eat at Edo. We asked Keegs multiple times if he was hungry, he was adamant that he was not. Well, since "Pa" was here he got a snow cone instead. Once they got there food they came and joined us were I was sitting with Keegan who was happily eating his snow cone. After a few bites "Pa" asks if Keegs wants some broccoli, to which he replies "Yes'' he then proceeds to eat all of the broccoli in the dish that they were sharing and then requested more. I had to go buy a side of broccoli for him. He ate the whole thing!!! Meanwhile, his snow cone, once pushed aside, sat there melting. Now tell me....what 3 year old chooses BROCCOLI over a SNOW CONE. Probably only mine. Oh well, I guess I don't mind too much. :)

Just Stuff

Not too much has gone on since our visitors have left. We have just enjoyed the weather, not too warm and a nice set of clouds rolls in by the afternoon to keep the heat down.
Keegan and I did make it over to the botanical gardens. They have an amazing play garden for the kids. Keegan had a great time.
Here he is inside a GIANT carrott.
The huge ants were all over.
Here he is next to the GIANT watering can.

Later in the week we all went to a place called ITZ. Kind of a nicer Chuck-e-cheese. It was sooo cheap but soo good. We got there before 3:00 pm so the buffett was 3.99 a person and Keegs was free!! How sweet is that!! Instead of tokens this place uses a point system and it was crazy expensive to buy points to play but for 14.95 you could buy a card with unlimited points that worked for 90 min. PERFECT!! Keegan had a great time and so did we. We found a couple of games that were so easy/stupid but gave out TONS of tickets. I mean how hard is it to cheat at wack-a-mole. with all three of us hitting them down......tickets out the wazooo.

This place also had to bounce house things. Keegs loved it. Here he is on the dinosaur that was in the bounce area.

This was a thing you lay on that moves and goes with the rollercoaster movie that you watch. Keegan had so much fun!! Josh liked it too. It reminded me a lot of the polar ride at Sea World. So much fun!!

Now less than 24 hrs until our next visitors!! more pics to come of the visit!!

Visitors

Last week we had visitors. Jacey and Jon came down to visit. We had a great week!! The first day they were here we wen to Old Town and looked around. We found a shop with MANY different varieties of HOT SAUCE WE all got a kick out of this one!
Colon Cleaner.
YIKES!!

Jon and Keegan in seriously cool cowboy hats

On the second day we went to the Rio Grande Zoo. This giraffe was just 1 wk old.

Somehow this is out of order. This is one of the churches in Santa Fe.

Outside the church there was a BIG tree. Granted if we were in Northern Cali, it would look tiny but Jon was amazed at how big the trunk was. I tried to get him to hug the tree, but aparently he isn't a "tree hugger"

And now back to the zoo. This baby was just so cute!

This was the previous chapel. It has a spiral staircase that has quite a history. The story of the staircase has actually been on Unsolved Mysteries. We wanted to go in but...time was almost up on our meter and so we had to head back to the car. Next time we will go check it out.

This is the big church in the middle of town. So pretty.

And I just can't get enough of this guy.

Him too. So cool.

We had a wonderful week with our visitors. We wish they could have stayed longer. Can't wait till the next wave of visitors gets here. Pa and grandma will be here next week.
