I'll try again!

I tried to post some new pics the other day but it wouldn't work (or maybe I was impatient) Today it worked. The pics are kind of random but here they are anyway.

Keegan at the Zoo.

Sitting and of course not looking at the camera.

Keegan sitting on a metal elephant. The little metal kind like some of the animals at the Hogle Zoo. But, the dork in me didn't get it in the picture. I was too worried about getting the live elephant in the picture. Duh!!

In the tub after a badly needed haircut.

Before the badly needed haircut. It was getting crazy.

Here is the apartment complex where we live, we are in the on on the left just past the 2nd tree.

Here is Keegan with messy face.

Keegan FINALLY got his bed and we promptly put up his new tent.

Here is a pic of Keegans room with both of his tents.

Outside playing and holding still for 1/2 a second.

Pictures Finally

Keegs standing in front of a HUGE turbine at the Glen Canyon Dam Visitor Center

My 3 boys looking at the Dam with the bridge in the background.

Keegs and Koda infront of the turbine.

Keegs sleeping in his tent. His bed comes in 2 days. He loves camping in his tent.

Keegs and Dad in a slot canyon at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. He had a lot of fun in the slot canyon and the cave.

So far Tucson has been fun but, we can't wait for our visitors to come next month. Keegs sure misses his "Pa" and usually tells me every day "Talk Pa". We are also excited for Jacey to come and visit a week or so after "Pa"

5 years!!

I can't believe it, today is our 5th wedding anniversary. Time has gone by so fast and so much has happened. Needless to say this anniversary is much different from ones in years past. The biggest one is that we are sooo far away from "home". Usually we go out to a nice dinner and spend the night at the Castle Creek Inn. We love staying there. But not this year. So far it has been a nice day but nothing too extreme. We did go swimming this morniing around 11. Keegan was unsure of it at first but then he didn't want to get out. He was so cold, even though the pool is heated, he was shivering and still didn't want to get out. He loves jumping off the side and having Daddy catch him.

Yesterday we went to the Desert Wildlife Museum. It was nice. Lots of cactus and plants that want to poke you but nice never the less. I have realized that when you first look at the desert with all of it's pain inducing plants it isn't very pretty, it actually looks kind of scary. After walking through the museum with it's cactus gardens and flowers blooming it is pretty, in it's own way. There was also a cool man made cave here. It looked like what I would imagine a cave to look like, Keegan thought it was fun, scary sometimes too. His favorite part of the day was definitely all of the snake exhibits. I am worried I have a little Steve Irwin on my hands. YIKES!!!!

I still haven't gone out to buy a cable for my camera, I promise I will soon.

We Made It!!!

After 2 long days in the car, we made it to Tucson. We drove the first day down to Page, Az and spent the night. We got up the next morning and went to see the Glen Canyon Dam. What an amazing sight. It is unbelievable how it was built. We then spent the next day once again in the car for the last half of the drive. Keegan was great, he slept a lot which is always good. When he was awake he read a lot of books and listened to a lot of Signing Time. He did start asking for "Pa's house" and then would say "far away". He also said this for Dan and Mimi, Jenben, and his favorite little friend Mace (Mason) all to which he would answer to himself "Far Away". Once we got to Tucson we found our apartment and got our stuff inside. Then it was time to get back in the car and go and trade rental cars. This is when Keegs decided that enough was enough. He kept telling us "Get Out" we made the switch as quickly as we could and went in search of dinner.

I did get some pics of our adventures but I packed the cord to our camera and it is now "Far Away" Soon enough I will get another. Bye for now from sunny warm AZ.
