Keegan and the beanstalk

We've had a good week, nothing to terribly exciting but a nice relaxing week.  The weather here is great, not too hot, not too cool.

Here's Carleigh in an outfit from Aunt Jacey, it's really a lot cuter than this picture makes it look and she was happy just would rather stare at the camera than smile when I tell her to.  ;)

We picked our first tomato of the season, it was tiny but very tasty

Today was the start of the Mushroom Festival!  They have all sorts of fun things for kids, this was a life size version of angry birds.

 Keegan's favorite part....the bouncy slide.

And now the weekly sunflower pictures, this thing is huge!  I can't wait to see how tall it ends up.

Carleigh at 2 months

Ok so first here's one of Keegan on his school playground, we walked up there one evening.

Here's Carleigh Girl happy to just be outside.

So here are her 2 month pics.  One of my friends sent the fun stickers for each month.  I can't believe it's already been 2 months!!

In the last week his sunflower went from being shorter than Keegan to more than a foot taller than him!

July so far...

So far this month we've had a visit from Mimi, celebrated the 4th (kinda lamely)  Carleigh turned 2 months, I got a year older and we're watching our garden grow.  We are also very excitedly counting down the days till Island Park.

Pirate Keegan, while Mimi was here we went to the  Farmers Market and she paid for Keegan to get his face painted.   It lasted until we got home.  He hated that it was itchy and he couldn't touch his face.  But he looks mighty fine with a beard.

For Mothers Day Keegan's class planted sunflower seeds in little starter cups.  Here's his so far, I'm going to take weekly pictures so that we can see how fast this sucker grows, I swear you  can tell a difference daily.

Carleigh had her 2 month appt on the 12th she now weighs 10 lbs 2 oz and is 22 inches long, right in the 30th percentile.  I'm not sure that Keegan ever got to the 30th percentile.

Our 4th of July was fairly un-eventful.  We found out we live in a city that doesn't allow fireworks to be sold so the "fireworks" we bought were actually party poppers.  And we thought the local firework show was on the 4th....nope it was on the 3rd.  However, we do live by a lake that all the houses on the lake buy the big "illegal" fireworks so we did still get to see a show.  Oh well, now we'll know for next year.  :)

I turned another year older, now making me 33!  I got to spend the day shopping, eating at our favorite Korean restaurant and then hanging out with my cute little family.  Perfect!

Now only 26 more days till Island Park!!
