Snow in ABQ
So, we've been told it doesn't happen often, and it melts quickly but it was pretty while it lasted. Last week we rushed out of Salt Lake to get ahead of a storm only to be greated by rain as soon as we crossed the New Mexico border. It rained all of the next day (I almost forgot we weren't in Vancouver) and turned into this by the evening. The tree right outside our patio

in total I think we got 3 inches MAX and yet the schools were closed and some state offices didn't have to go in at the normal hour. We are definitely not in Utah.

The trees do look pretty. I saw the news the other night that showed Spokane and all the multiple car pile-ups do to icey roads...made me think back 3 years ago. (was it really 3 years ago??)
It was pretty, it didn't stay for long though. It's supposed to rain tonight, I'm hoping it turns into snow again.
Tyler sent me a video of all the cars sliding down the hill close to where Josh's hospital was in Spokane. It was crazy, they just kept coming.
We were there 2 years ago, in 2008. The funny thing about the video Tyler sent me was that it was exactly 2 years to the day of the big storm.
