We had all of our family and friends over for his birthday. It was a little tight in our little condo but we managed. Keegan had a good time opening all of his presents, he is getting better at it. He got a lot of books, his favorite thing. His favorite book it Richard Scary's, Best Word Book Ever. Josh's family had a very old copy of this book. Aunt Jacey decided that since their copy had seen better days she would get him his very own copy. (he fell asleep with it at naptime today)

He also got books about cars trucks and "Things That Go". This was his attempt at a smile.
This is another one of his favorite gifts. Vanilla wafers, he loves them.
He got a tricycle from my parents. He almost gets the hang of peddling. We will have to work on it.
And then the funniest part of the party. With the presents put away he was ready for his cupcake. He had been asking about them all day. He had his very own with a candle in it. The instant we all started singing to him he started crying. Apparently he doesn't like it when people sing to him. We all thought it was funny but he didn't. He was so upset by our singing that he didn't want anything to do with his cake. He wouldn't blow out the candle or eat any of it.
Once the trauma of being sung to wore off he was fine. He had plenty of new books to worry about and a bike to ride. We have the greatest family and friends. We really appreciate them all.
